The strange spring of Pelous...
In 1908, Louis Brière, owner of a plot of land in the current Nature Reserve of the Dunes and Marshes of Hourtin, decided to exploit a spring on his land. This ferruginous mineral water had therapeutic properties. The "sovereign" was short-lived and all that remains at this place is a small brick building and the legend that remains here.
