Boucle des Palus

The village of Queyrac, on the edge of the estuary, boasts a diverse landscape of forests, vineyards, meadows and marshes. This itinerary invites you to explore the varied flora and fauna that surround this small village. One of the village's treasures is its church, built in the late 19th century. It replaces an earlier twelfth-century Romanesque church, the stones of which were reused in the new construction. Under the direction of architect Bonnore, work began in 1896 and the church was inaugurated in April 1901. Its elegant structure rises above the Médoc vineyards. This walk takes in a diversity of landscapes, plant and animal species for an enriching experience in the heart of nature.
