Maison de Grave

Between forest and ocean, the Maison de Grave, a site committed to the Environment
Property of the Conservatoire du Littoral, the Maison de Grave has been managed since 2022 by the
Department of Gironde and offers a program dedicated to Education and awareness of
the Environment as well as natural risks.
All year round, the Maison de Grave hosts nature outings, discovery workshops,
conferences, and scientists and artists in research and creation residence.
In fine weather, exhibitions, stopover lodge for gentle mobility, equestrian activities and a
Friendly tavern with local cuisine complete the program of this extraordinary place.
Linked since its creation in 1840 to defense against the ocean, the Maison de Grave is essential for
take the time, get to know and understand our daily environment better, and ask
a fresh look at the world around us.
