Plage surveillée d’Hourtin-Port

This big sandy beach which is located near the charming harbour of Hourtin and at the edge of the lake, is supervised during summer. The lake offers 25 degrees warm water… no waves at the horizon, it's perfect to have fun in safety. There are a lot of activities for children nearby, namely a recreation area, a mini-golf facility and an island for children. One round splashing around in the water, a vessel to discover the lake, reading at the beach... You have the agony of choice! At the kite surf area you can admire the surfers from your beach towels. After an afternoon spent in the water, the kids can continue to have fun on an island especially for kids. It is a real paradise for the little ones ! Just a few metres away from the beach there are various parking facilities in the shadow. Tiralos (wheelchairs for the beach) are provided.
